Dolores Hope

Dolores Hope, born Dolores DeFina ( born May 27, 1909 in New York City; † 19 September 2011 in Toluca Lake, California), was an American singer and the wife of actor Bob Hope.

Life

Dolores DeFina, born in 1909 in New York City, began in the 1930s, her career and sang under the name Dolores Reade. In 1933, she met Bob Hope. The couple married on February 19, 1934 in Pennsylvania.

With 83 years Dolores Hope brought her first CD out, Dolores Hope: Now and then.

With her husband Bob (1903-2003), who also reached an age of 100 years, it was - until his death - married 69 years.

Dolores Hope received several major awards in her life, including:
