Dome of the Ascension

The Dome of the Ascension (Arabic: قبة المعراج / Qubbat al - Miraj ) is a detached Qubba ( dome ) connected to the ascension (mi ʿ Raj / miraj ) reminiscent of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. It is located northwest of the Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
