Domenico Lo Faso Pietrasanta

Domenico Lo Faso Pietrasanta ( born February 21, 1783 in Palermo, † February 15, 1863 in Florence) was Duke of Serradifalco in Sicily.

Under the name " Serradifalco " he was one of the greatest archaeologists of his time in Sicily. He conducted numerous excavations and wrote a five -volume work on the ancient sites of Sicily under the title " Antichità della Sicilia ".

In 1852 he was made an honorary member of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences.
