Dominator Oak

The Dominator - oak (Polish: Dąb Dominator ) was one of the thickest oaks in the Polish part of the Bialowieza National Park.

The location of this Oak is located in Sector 640 of the National Park, very near the border with Belarus. The trunk circumference was at a height of 130 cm from the base 680 cm. The tree reaching a height of over 36 meters and died in 1992 from. The trunk is already to a considerable extent without bark.

For many years dominated the oak due to its dimensions the southern part of the Białowieża National Park. The age of this oak was estimated at 450 years.
