Dominic Hannigan

Dominic Hannigan (Irish Ó Doiminic hAnnagáin, * July 1965 in Drogheda, Ireland) is an Irish politician of the Irish Labour Party.

Life

After leaving school, Hannigan was educated at University College Dublin civil engineering and then moved to the City University London, where he graduated with a Master in Transportation Sciences. Furthermore Hannigan earned another master's degree in finance at the University of London. His professional career began as a consultant for an engineering firm and as a planner for the Camden Council.

From 2004 to 2007 Hannigan was a member of Meath County Council. During this time he was a candidate at the 2005 election have been replaced by John Bruton vakantem seat in Dáil Éireann, but was defeated Shane McEntee of Fine Gael. At the next regular elections to Dáil Éireann, his candidacy was also unsuccessful.
