Dominica national football team
The dominica African national football team is the national team of dominica African Football Union and shall represent Dominica at the international level. So far, neither succeeded in qualifying for a World Cup or for the continental CONCACAF Gold Cup. Also, the regional Caribbean Nations Cup the team could not hit on the first round so far.
World Cup Qualifiers
The greatest successes are the victories in the early rounds of the World Cup qualifiers in 1998 ( against Antigua and Barbuda ) and 2002 ( against Bahamas).
As part of the qualification for the World Cup 2010 in South Africa, the team met in the first round of the CONCACAF region on the national team from Barbados. The first leg in Roseau ( Dominica) on 6 February 2008 ended 1-1, the return leg 0-1. Thus, Dominica was excreted.
