Comments

This film is a parody of the film adaptations of the novel " The Scarlet Pimpernel or scarlet seal" of Emmuska Orczy, in which a group of English noblemen undertakes successful attempts to preserve French nobles from the gallows.

This part is one of the most ambitious films of the series. The film features surpasses almost all other parts of the series. And you achieved what it was intended: The film works not only as a hilarious comedy that satirizes swashbuckler films à la Zorro, but the film is both credible voices also as an adventure film.

Very interesting in this film are the reversals of the current images. On the one hand we have citizen Camembert - slick, accurate, through and through of aristocratic behavior. Lusting his character, loud, through and through " chav " - On the other side of the black fingernail.

With this film, the production of Anglo - Amalgamated Productions goes to The Rank Organisation. In order to break into the American market better with the series walk, was abandoned for the first time ( but with only two movies) on the Standard Carry on titles for the international market. Thus, the film is internationally known as Do not Lose Your Head. Ironically, however, gave to the film in the United States or under a second title: Carry On Pimpernel - and it was again a Carry on.
