Donald J. Irwin

Donald Jay Irwin ( born September 7, 1926 in Argentina, † July 7, 2013 in Norwalk, Connecticut ) was an American politician. Between 1959 and 1961, and 1965-1969, he represented the state of Connecticut in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Donald Irwin was born in 1926 in Argentina and came in 1945 to the United States to study at Yale University. He then joined the U.S. Army. He belonged to a Brazilian- American unit in Rio de Janeiro. After his return to the United States, he continued his education.
