Donggang, Liaoning

The Donggang City (东港市) is a county-level city in the prefecture-level city of Dandong in northeast China's Liaoning Province. It has an area of ​​2396 km ² and has 612,000 inhabitants ( 2010). Seat of government is the Road Dadong District (大 东 街道). In Donggang the new international port of the city of Dandong ( Dandong New Port ) is set up as an alternative to the port of Dalian.
