Donghua University

The East China University, also Donghua University (Chinese东华 大学, Pinyin Donghua Daxue, English Donghua University) is a national university in Shanghai. It was founded in 1951 as a Technical Textile Institute of Eastern China. Under its current name, the University has been known since 1999. It now offers a diverse range of subjects, but still has its focus in the textile sciences.

Locations

The University is spread over two campuses: a campus in the Changning district and one in Songjiang District of Shanghai.
