Coach history

Venue

Since the mid- 2000s, there is a lively discussion about the Fair Dornbirn Stadium, the home ground of Dornbirn Hockey Club. This stadium was designed by the city of Dornbirn as a multi -purpose hall, this will not only played hockey in the hall. So it was on 24 and 25 September 2006, the case that David Copperfield hosted its magic show in the exhibition hall. This allowed the hall of the Dornbirnern hockey players not be used with the on-ice training was begun on October 5.

This situation affects not only the first team, but also the youth teams, because they thus have to resort to other halls in Vorarlberg, which results in additional costs. In the playoffs, in 2004 the EC Dornbirn had to resort to the Lustenauer ice rink because of Dornbirn Spring Fair. In the seasons 2007/ 08 and 2009/10 Rheinhalle had to serve as the home stadium for the 2008 /09 season the club played in the Vorarlberghalle in Feldkirch.
