Career

Dorothee Schneider was already in her childhood surrounded by horses. Her father Hans -Eberhard Schneider was even dressage rider, rode heavy dressage tests up to Intermediare level and taught dressage competitions up to Grand Prix level, he also was active as a horse breeder. Until the early 1980s the family was tenant of the domain Mechtildshausen in Wiesbaden, where they had a farm. Here Schneider learned to ride by her father, had his own words, however, win the riding lessons of his father and tried to teach himself a lot.

After her graduation she wanted to study veterinary medicine. However, in the year of its financial statements, the family had to leave the domain as a different use was intended as a youth project. Therefore, they moved to Framersheim, where they earned an equestrian center, and made themselves independent. Sports career

With imperial cult, a licensed son of Van Deyk, Dorothee Schneider won the National Championships of the six -year old dressage horses in 2004. In 2006 both reached the second place in the Nuremberg Castle Cup final. It was followed by many successes in the heavy class.

This belongs to the mother of Stella Charlott Roth, a student of Dorothee Schneider. With Kristina Sprehe and Helen Langehanenberg she won the silver medal in the team competition dressage.

After the Olympics, Stella Charlott Roth took over again Diva Royal, Schneider rides alongside young dressage horses the mare Forward Looking successfully at Grand Prix level.

From the summer of 2013 took Dorothee Schneider Training and conditioning of several horses owned by the Edwin Kohl (founder of carbon pharmaceuticals) that have been previously then briefly ridden by Patrik Kittel and Ulla Salzgeber. The beginning of 2014 she could with one of these horses, with Silvano, recorded for the first time a major international success: When CDI 4 * tournament in Graz, she won both the Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Freestyle.
