Dotsie Bausch

Dotsie Bausch ( born March 6, 1973 in Louisville ) is an American cyclist.

Dotsie Bausch was in New York originally worked as a model on the catwalk and suffering from eating disorders. Part of their therapy is to play sports was, and so she came to the sport of cycling.

Since the early 2000s Bausch is one of the best American cyclist interior, with successes on the road and on the track. First, their focus was on road racing, mainly in the home. In 2001, she finished fourth at the U.S. Championships in the road race. In 2003, she was third in the overall standings of the Vuelta de Bisbee, 2005, she won the Bonsall - San Luis Rey Classic and the Tour de Murietta, 2006, she was third in the overall standings of the Joe Martin Stage Race, 2007 Second of the Central Valley Classic and third in the Tour of the Gila. In the same year she won third place in the individual time trial at the Pan American Championships.

Also in 2007 was Dotsie Bausch two-time U.S. champion, in the one - and the Team Pursuit ( with Sarah Hammer and Jennie Reed ). In the UCI Track World Championships 2011 in Apeldoorn, she won with a hammer and Reed silver in the team pursuit. At the 2012 Olympic Games in London Bausch won jointly with Sarah Hammer and Lauren Tamayo, the silver medal in the team pursuit.
