Dragan Đukić (handballer)

Dragan Đukić ( Драган Ђукић; born August 9, 1962) is a Serbian handball coach. Since the autumn of 2012, he is the coach of the Israeli national team.

Đukić was 1987-2001 coach of various youth and junior national teams of Yugoslavia, Serbia - Montenegro and Serbia, next to it was a club coach in Serbia and supervised 2000, the Jordanian national team. In 2000 he was coach of the Hungarian club Pick Szeged, which he remained until 2003. He then went from 2003 to 2005 to Macedonia, where he worked on both the national and Vardar Skopje, and 2005/ 06 on the Portuguese club HC Madeira. From 2006 to 2008 he was a Swiss national coach.

In June 2009 Đukić successor Carsten Albrektsens as coach of the British national team was to form with the aim of a team for the Olympic Handball Tournament 2012 in London. In the Olympics, his team lost all five games significantly.

After the Olympics left Đukić UK and became the Israeli national team coach.
