History

The Falkenhain district was 1409 Schäcksdorf 1527 first mentioned. By resolution of the Congress of Vienna in 1815, the previously -Saxon and Prussian Lower Lusatia with her Drahnsdorf and connected the province of Brandenburg. In the 19th century, the estate belonged to the Barons of Drahnsdorf Manteuffel. End of 1858, Otto von Manteuffel moved to his dismissal as Prime Minister of Prussia back here.

Incorporations

Since 31 December 2002, the district Drahnsdorf belongs to the municipality of Krusty part to the Official Golßener country. As part of the municipal reform Drahnsdorf moved by the Office for Official Luckau Golßener country, and joined together with the community Falk grove. Since January 1, 2013 Drahnsdorf part of the newly established Office Unterspreewald.
