Dramaturgische Gesellschaft

The Dramatic Society ( dg ) is an association of in the field of performing arts workers and students from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Its headquarters is in Berlin.

History and Structure

The Dramatic Society was founded in Berlin in 1956 and emerged from the Dramaturgische working group in 1953 incurred. In addition to directors playwrights, directors, actors, editors and journalists are among its members. It has about 600 club members, including 10 Corporate (June 2011).

Tasks and objectives

Kleist Prize
