History

Founding What Silence Hides and (2006-2012)

The band was formed in 2006 by guitarists Fella and Rocco. After about a year more members came to the band and thus completed the occupation. After another year, the band played their first concerts and played in the 2008 and 2009 at the Metal Camp Open Air 2009 and the summer breeze. Their debut album, What Silence Hides was recorded in Switzerland in the Cave Studios, where Etan Genini worked as a producer. Was mixed by Fredrik Nordström album in Swedish Studio Fredman in Gothenburg. Mastered it was from Sterling Sound by George Marino in New York City. The album was released in 2011 with Spinefarm Records.

The Gift of Life (2012 - present)

During the summer of 2012 Dreamshade working on their second album, The Gift of Life. The production and recording took place while the band's own studio. Then, it was mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen. The album was released on 25 January 2013, and like its predecessor Spinefarm Records.

Style

The band plays classic, sometimes quite demanding Melodic Death Metal.
