Drogo of Champagne
Drogo (* 670, † 708, buried in the church of St. Arnulf of Metz ) was a son of Pippin the Middle and the Plectrude and great-grandson of Arnulf of Metz, and a half-brother of Charles Martel. His father made him the dux ( duke ) of Champagne ( 695 ), later the dux of the Burgundians ( about 697 ). He married after 688 Anstrudis, the daughter of the mayor of the palace and the Waratto Ansfeld, widow of domo Berchar, with whom he had four sons:

- Hugo († 730), 715 sacerdos (priest), Bishop of Paris, Bishop of Rouen and Bishop of Bayeux, Abbot of Jumièges
