The DrugBank database of the University of Alberta is a source for bioinformatics and chemical information, the detailed data of medicines connects (eg chemical, pharmacological and pharmaceutical data) with extensive information about the target compounds (eg, sequence, structure, metabolic pathways). The database contains more than 6,800 entries. In addition, more than 4,300 protein sequences associated with these entries.
