Dry Falls

The Dry Falls ( en. for dry waterfalls) are a geological formation in the U.S. state of Washington, which is formed by the Missoula Floods at the end of the last ice age. The Dry Falls are 5.6 kilometers ( 3.5 miles ) wide and 122 meters (400 feet) high. During the flooding, the Dry Falls formed the largest known waterfall in the Earth's history. The estimated outflow corresponded to ten times all of today's rivers worldwide. The large pools at the foot of the cases were eroded by the floods.

The Dry Falls are now a part of Sun Lakes State Park in Coulee City at Washington State Route 17 and Interstate 90 in about an hour 's drive away.
