Includes The Dübener Heide Nature Park, the large parts of the same Duebener Heath, is the first natural park in Germany, the government was not officially due to citizens' initiatives. At 1000 km of designated cycling and walking routes walks can be performed.

Support of the Natural Park eV is the association Duebener Heath. Association, founded already on 28 September 1930, re-established on 31 March 1990. He is a member of the Association of German Nature Parks and the Association of German mountain - and hiking clubs.
