Duboko (Ljubovija)

Duboko (Cyrillic: Дубоко ) is a village in western Serbia, near the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Geography and population

The village lies in the Opština Ljubovija, in Okrug Mačva. The place had 484 inhabitants at the 2002 census, while in 1991 were 417 inhabitants. After the last three population statistics, the population of Duboko rising. The population set to 99 % Serbian Orthodox Serbs. In addition, a Montenegrin lives in the village. The village consists of 123 households.

Duboko is not far from the banks of the Drina, which represents the border between Serbia and Bosnia here. The place is located just south of the capital Ljubovija. The village is also just south of the river Ljuboviđa.
