Dudu Aouate

David " Dudu " Aouate (Hebrew דודו אוואט ); (Born 17 October 1977 in Nazareth Illit ) is an Israeli football player. His position is goalkeeper. Since 2011 he is the number 1 in the Israeli National Team and regular keeper in the Spanish side RCD Mallorca. He has next to the Israeli and French citizenship.

Playing career

Had begun his professional career at Hapoel Nazareth Illit, but he moved early to Maccabi Haifa, where he rose quickly to a key player. Prior to joining 2003 Racing Santander he was always in competition with the more experienced Nir Davidovich.

His good performances, especially in the Champions League season 2002/ 03, helped him to a move abroad. He joined on 17 July 2003 to Racing Santander, where he was the undisputed number one. Since he also has a French passport, he is in the leagues of the European Union not as a " non-EU foreigners." By August 2006 Aouate moved to Spanish club Deportivo La Coruña. On 8 January 2008, it arrived at training but to fight with substitute Gustavo Munua, the Aouate and Munua until further notice from playing for Deportivo were excluded.

December 30, 2008 Aouate signed a 4 1/2 year contract with the Spanish side RCD Mallorca.
