History

In ancient times, the area was part of the province of Noricum. In the core Austrian state of Lower Austria lying the place informed the eventful history of Austria.

The municipality was created in 1970 by the merger of the municipalities Gansbach, Gerolding, Kicking and wall.

Population Development

Structures
