Dušan Tittel

Dušan Tittel (* December 27 1966 in Námestovo ) is a former Slovak football player who then has only played in the Czechoslovak national team, in the Slovak national football team, today he is football official.

Tittel has spent his schooling and apprenticeship in the Slovak capital; only the high school from 1980 to 1984, he graduated from the University of Economics in Bratislava and at last he finished the Faculty of Sport Sciences, Comenius University, Bratislava coach his studies.

Club career

Home played in his youth only for the MFK Dolny Kubin. At age 16, he joined the junior team of TJ Slovan Bratislava CHZJD, for the A team of Slovan, he played first in 1988 - 1991, then he moved for one and half year to southern France for Olympique Nîmes, followed by the top four years and six months at Slovan, he was with the team three times champion of Slovakia, and three times he was in Slovakia footballer of the Year. This was followed by two years at arch rivals Slovan, FC Spartak Trnava. After one and a half seasons in Cyprus Omonia Nicosia when he played at Slovan the second half of the season 2000/2001 and then he ended his playing career.

National

Home played in the years 1990 and 1991 in 11 games in the Czechoslovak national team. For Slovakia, he played in the 1994 and 1998 in 44 games and scored seven goals.

Official career

Home was at Slovan coach and manager in various positions, in years 2002 to 2006 he was Secretary General of the Slovak Football Association. In January 2011, he was elected President of the Slovak Union of the league clubs.
