E. Lynn Harris
E. Lynn Harris ( born June 20, 1955 in Flint, Michigan; † 23 July 2009 Los Angeles, California ) was an American author.
Life
Harris was born in 1955 in Michigan in an African-American family and grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas, on. After leaving school, Harris studied at the University of Arkansas and worked after his studies as a computer specialist for the company IBM. In addition to his work he began in the mid- 1990s as an author to write several books that took up the subject of homosexuality among other things. Harris lived openly homosexual in California. 2009 Harris died of a heart attack.
