The Eagle Aircraft 150 is a light aircraft manufactured in Australia by Eagle Aircraft.
History and construction
The Eagle 150 is a two-seat sports and trainer aircraft that is fully made of composite material. The Eagle has a special wing design on, the behind the cockpit consists of about one-third narrower wings under the engine in front of the cockpit and main wings above, but the Eagle is not a biplane in the usual sense. This unique Vorflügelkonstruktion, the Eagle on a außergewohnliche maneuverability. In addition, the machine has a conventional tail unit and a retractable tricycle landing gear not. The Eagle 150A first flew in March 1988. According to 15 aircraft built, was converted to the improved Eagle 150B. A further development of the aircraft as UAV is already running on. The Malaysian government bought three pieces listed as Eagle ARV machine.
