Eastern Kentucky University

The Eastern Kentucky University ( EKU also called ) is a public university in Richmond, Kentucky. The college was founded in 1874, and currently 16,183 students enrolled. In addition to the main campus in Richmond, there are side locations in Corbin, Danville and Manchester. The school is particularly known for its research and teaching in the field of criminal justice.

The sports teams are the EKU Colonels. The university is a member of the Ohio Valley Conference.
