Course

The Eberbach rises in the Odenwald in two source branches to a height of about 504 m above sea level. NN in a forested area of Rodensteiner castle forest, west of Reichel home, on the southern slope of the Rimdidim ( 498.5 m above sea level. NN ). After the union of the two source branches it flows in a southwesterly direction through the forest and then changes to a grassland zone. There he receives inflow from a small forest stream. Its course now leads westward through meadows. After he was strengthened by two meadow streams, it changes its flow direction to the southwest. Just before he reached the northern edge of Reichel home, it is fed by a further Wiesbach. In Reichelsheim he disappears piped into the ground and flows finally west of the Konrad -Adenauer -Allee at an altitude of about 211 m above sea level. NN in the Mergbach.
