Ebersnackenturm

At the top of Ebersnacken stands the 26 m high Ebersnackenturm, a running in wooden framework construction observation tower, whose observation deck overlooks all treetops.

Originally a 13 m high measurement tower was built in 1890. 1922 a new tower was built, which collapsed in 1946. Only in 1960 was once again a tower, today Ebersnackenturm, which was renewed in 1990 and restored in 2000.

From the tower you can enjoy not only the all-round visibility in Vogler and the surrounding Weser mountain country, because the eye can see, inter alia, towards the west to the Hermann Monument in the Teutoburg Forest and east to the resin.
