Ebrach Abbey

The prison Ebrach is a youth detention center of the Free State of Bavaria in Ebrach.

The detention center has an occupancy capacity of 337 inmates, currently in rule enforcement.

History

The prison was built in 1851 in the premises of the monastery Ebrach as forced labor or institution as a penitentiary.

Since 1958, the Institute serves as a youth detention center.
