Echoencephalography

The echoencephalography or tomography (English echoencephalography ) denotes a representation of interfaces in the brain using ultrasound.

By shifting the center line of echoes can be determined indirectly signs of space-occupying processes, such as tumors, recognize; a widened center line echo occurs when hydrocephalus, sometimes pathological hematoma and tumor response can be seen.
