Eclair (company)

Éclair was a French film company and a film camera manufacturer in Epinay- sur -Seine. The company was founded in 1907 by Charles Jourjon. In 1912, she began to build cameras. These were known worldwide as Cameréclair, Caméflex, NPR and ACL. The company has been bought in the early 1970s from producer Harry Saltzman and sold in the 1980s to Aaton, Grenoble, which eventually dissolved the company.
