Éclaron-Braucourt-Sainte-Livière
Éclaron - Braucourt -Sainte- Livière is a commune in France in the arrondissement of Saint- Dizier in the west of the department of Haute -Marne, in the Champagne -Ardenne region. Éclaron - Braucourt -Sainte- Livière is the main town ( chef-lieu ) of the Canton of Saint- Dizier- Ouest.
Éclaron - Braucourt -Sainte- Livière has 2041 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011). The inhabitants are called Éclaronnais.
Geography
Éclaron - Braucourt -Sainte- Blaise Livière is on the river, about eight kilometers southwest of Saint- Dizier. The reservoir de Champ Aubert, the largest artificial lake in France, Lac du Der-Chantecoq, situated in the municipality. The municipality is divided into the towns of Sainte- Livière in the west of the municipality, brewing Court in the south and in the north or north-east Éclaron the community.
History
The communities Éclaron and brewing Court were merged in 1972 to 1975 came Sainte- Livière, which was then still part of the department Marne, added.
