Ed Chynoweth Cup
The Ed Chynoweth Cup is the championship of the Canadian Hockey League junior WHL, which is played annually in the playoff between the winners of the WHL Eastern and Western Conference of the WHL. By 2007, was called the Cup, as well as the same champion trophy in the QMJHL President 's Cup (French: Coupe du Président ), it was renamed in honor of Ed Chynoweth in the current name.
Establishing the League of Cup was played in 1967 for the first time, current title holders are the Portland Winter Hawks. The winner of the Ed Chynoweth Cup is one of four participants in the tournament for the CHL Memorial Cup.
