Eddie Moussa

Eddie Moussa ( born March 20, 1984 † July 1, 2010 in Södertälje ) was a Swedish footballer of Assyrian origin. His father came from Lebanon and his mother from Syria.

Moussa played since 2001 in the men's team Assyriska Föreningen, came in 2004, the rise in the Allsvenskan, the highest Swedish league, in which he but only got to use one. After a year at third division Valsta Syrianska IK he played from 2007 again for Assyriska Föreningen in the Superettan, the second Swedish league. In 2009, he missed the team 's re-emergence in the first league in the relegation matches against Djurgårdens IF.

Eddie Moussa was shot dead along with his brother in the early morning of July 1, 2010 by two men in the game Club oases in Södertälje, a community southwest of Stockholm. Immediately after the fact, there was no reference to the perpetrators.
