Edevaldo de Freitas

Edevaldo de Freitas, aka Edevaldo ( born January 28, 1958 in Campos, Rio de Janeiro ) is a former Brazilian footballer, who played as a defender on the right side.

During his career (1979-1998) he played for many clubs, among other things, for the Brazilian teams Fluminense, Internacional -RS, Vasco da Gama, Botafogo, Bangu, Vila Nova América Rio, Associação Portuguesa Atlética (RJ ) and Portugal for FC Porto.

He won the state championship in 1980 once the state of Rio de Janeiro and the 1982 João Gamper Trophy in Spain. He played between October 1980 and July 1982 18 times for the Brazilian national football team. He participated in the Mundialito part 1980/Anfang end in 1981 when she met once in the 1-1 draw against Argentina. He was in the squad the Selecao at the Football World Cup 1982 and played once.

With FC Porto he won the Portuguese Championship 1985/86.
