Edgar Larner

Edgar Thomas Larner (* 1869, † 1930) was a British radio and television engineer and pioneer. He was born in the city of Norwich, Norfolk, England. Professionally, he worked as an engineer and scientist for the GPO ( General Post Office ) in engineering - phone. At that time the GPO is part of the British Civil Service, so he was a Civil Service staff. He was a television and radio Experimenteur and pioneer. He also taught at the Hackney Institute in London. Two of his friends were John Logie Baird and Philo Farnsworth. He died in 1930 at the age of 61 in Hackney, London.
