Edgar Moon

Edgar " Gar " Moon (* December 3, 1904, † May 26, 1976 ) was an Australian tennis player.

His first title at the Australian Tennis Championships, he won the 1929 Mixed together with Daphne Akhurst. In 1934 he was able to triumph for the second time in mixed, this time with Joan Hartigan.

In 1930, he was also able to make the Australian Championships in men's singles victorious. He defeated in the final Harry Hopman 6:3, 6:1 and 6:3. In 1932 he also won the men's doubles with Jack Crawford.
