Edina Ronay

Edina Ronay, FRSA ( born 1944 in Budapest) is a Hungarian - British fashion designer and former actress and model.

Life

In the 1960s, Ronay was educated at London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Since 1960 she has played numerous roles on television, such as 1962 and 1963 in two episodes of The Avengers and melon, but also in various movies, for example, as Dolores appeared in the 1966 Carry on - the brash cowboy from the British Carry-on ... film series. In 1967, she starred in the Hammer production, the slave of the Amazons Saria.

Mid-1970s, she retired from acting and worked as a fashion designer. In 1978 she presented her first knitwear collection. In 1984 she founded her own fashion label. Ronay is a member of the Royal Society of Arts.

Edina Ronay is the daughter of gastronomy critic Egon Ronay. She is married to the former photographer Dick Polak. They live in Putney, South West London and have two children.
