Edita Stanislawowna Pjecha (Polish Edyta Piecha, Russian Эдита Станиславовна Пьеха, scientific transliteration Edita Stanislavovna P'echa, also in the French form of the name Edith -Marie Pierha, . Born July 31, 1937 in Noyelles- sous-Lens, Pas -de -Calais, France ) is a Russian pop singer and daises.

Her parents Stanislaw and Felicia Piecha came as guest workers from Poland to France. She grew up in a mining village because her father worked in a mine. In 1945 she came with her mother back to Poland. She lived in Boguszów in Silesia and completed the educational secondary school in Wałbrzych. In 1955 she went to Leningrad to study psychology.

Edita Pjecha was previously married three times and divorced from all three husbands. The divorce from her third husband, Vladimir Polyakov was 2005. Their first marriage brought her daughter Ilona.

They occasionally worked with the ensemble "Druzhba " (Eng. "friendship" ). In 1988 her the title of People's Artist of the USSR was awarded.

Edita Pjecha speaks fluent Polish, Russian, French and German. She now lives in St. Petersburg.

Her grandson Stas Pjecha (* 1980) is also a successful pop singer.
