Edlbach is a municipality in Upper Austria in the district of Kirchdorf an der Krems in Traun quarter with 656 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013).

Geography

Edlbach is located on 770 m altitude in Traun quarter. The expansion is 4 km from north to south and from west to east 3.4 km. The total area is 8.3 km ². 24.1 % of the area is forested and 65.1 % of the area is used for agriculture.

History

Originally in the eastern part of the Duchy of Bavaria lying, was the place since the 12th century the Duchy of Austria. Since 1490 he is the Principality ' Austria above the Enns ' attributed.
