Edle von Webenau

The Weber nobles of Webenau are a native of Austria family.

On September 17, 1818 Johann was successful for state services as an accountant of the Carinthian estates in Klagenfurt by Emperor Francis I in the Austrian hereditary peerage with the title " Edler von Webenau " where (it) Nepomuk Weber.

Johann Weber was born on 26 January 1769 in Graz and married his first wife on June 1, 1794 Karoline nee Noble of Pirkenau († July 3, 1817 ) and in a second marriage on 11 January 1818 Marianne, born Gaggl (* October 23, 1787 ). Johann Weber Edler von Webenau died on 20 November 1846.

1922 Viktor Weber Webenau was awarded for bravery, the Austrian Military Order of Maria Theresa Order. The order was originally linked right to elevation to the baron was after the abolition of the monarchy in 1918 and the title of nobility in 1919 of course no longer be realized.
