Edmond Baudoin

Edmond Baudoin ( born April 23, 1942 in Nice) is a French illustrator and comic book artist.

Life

Since Baudoin's parents had his older brother already funded the study, they could not afford to let him study also, so he worked as an accountant and only started with 33 years as a cartoonist and illustrator.

Baudoin, who works without preliminary sketches, won in 1992 for the album Couma ACO at the Festival International de la Bande Dessinée d' Angoulême the Prix du meilleur album. In 1997 he also won the Angoulême Alph - Art du scénario for the album Le Voyage. In German appeared in the sign of Aries by Baudoin among others created in collaboration with Fred Vargas Adam Berg crime.
