Edmond Hervé

Edmond Hervé ( born December 3, 1942 in La Bouillie, Côtes- d'Armor ) is a French politician and a member of the Parti Socialiste français.

From 1977 to 2008 he was the mayor of Rennes. He succeeded Henri Fréville. From 1981 to 1993 and 1997 to 2002, Hervé member of the French National Assembly, and under Pierre Mauroy from May to June 1981 Health and June 1981 to March 1983 Minister of Energy, March 1983-March 1986 Secretary of State in the Ministry of Health under Laurent Fabius. Since September 2008 he has been Senator of Ille -et -Vilaine.
