Edmonton Eskimos (ice hockey)

The Edmonton Eskimos were a Canadian ice hockey team from Edmonton, Alberta. The team played from 1921 to 1936 in the Western Canada Us Hockey League.

History

The Edmonton Eskimos was founded in 1921 as a franchise of the inaugural Western Canada Hockey League. In this they played was total until the league disbanded five years. In the season 1922/23 they won the championship title of the WCHL. In this role, she competed in the finals for the Stanley Cup, but lost there in two games against the Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League. In the season 1926/27, the Eskimos were in the Prairie Hockey League. Then the team was inactive for five years before it was reactivated for the season 1932/33, and moved into the once discharged Western Canada Hockey League. Finally, the Eskimos played from 1933 to 1936 in the North West Hockey League before the team was finally dissolved.
