Edmund Bishop

Edmund Bishop ( born May 17, 1846 in Totnes, † February 17, 1917 in Barnstaple ) was an Englishman and liturgist.

First Anglicans, Bishop appeared as 22 -year-old converted to Catholicism. For health reasons, he could get his wish, Benedictine in the abbey to be downside, never realize. 1864 to 1885 he worked in the Education Department of the Privy Council Office, 1893 to 1901 as an employee of Cardinal Francis Aidan Gasquet in London. Its liturgy historical works, written mainly in the leisure and retirement appeared widely dispersed. The Lesser Writings were published posthumously collected.
