Edmund Minahan

Edmund Minahan ( Edmund Joseph " Cotton" Minahan; born December 10, 1882 in Springfield, Ohio, † May 20 1958 in East Orange, New Jersey) was an American sprinter.

Although he was only 17 years old, he was nominated for the Olympic Games in Paris in 1900. He was sixth in the 60 - meter dash and reached the semifinals of the 100-meter run.

Edmund Minahan started for Georgetown University. In 1907, he played as a pitcher in the Cincinnati Reds baseball team.
