Edoardo Anton

Edoardo Anton (actually Edoardo Antonelli, born January 7, 1910 in Rome, † May 16, 1986 ) was an Italian screenwriter and film director.

Life

Anton came first in the footsteps of his father Luigi Antonelli (1882-1942), who as a playwright prescribed to the comedic part. First Non è ancora pieces like primavera and La ragazza del bersagliere emerged. In addition, he wrote as a journalist about movies. In 1935 he wrote his first screenplay, Il serpente a sonagli after his own piece; to 1980 he was involved in about 70 films, mostly comedies in this function. His work as a director are mainly Italian versions of several co-productions, none of which is estimated to be significant. Anton was also a writer of radio plays for the Ente Italiano per le Audizioni Radiofoniche, where he was employed from 1937 to 1941, worked.
