Édouard Rod
Édouard Rod ( born March 31, 1857 in Nyon, † January 29, 1910 in Grasse ) was a French-language author from Switzerland.
Life and work
His most important novel " race to the death " has been heavily influenced by Schopenhauer's philosophy.
He was a contemporary of Marcel Proust, who admired him for his depictions of nature.
